Amir Khan is Paying (Heavy Price) for His Wife’s Fears

Recently, the legendary Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, while talking at the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards, joined the debate of rising intolerance in India by giving a most alarming statement and said, “(Wife) Kiran and I have lived all our lives in India. For the first time, she said, should we move out of India? That’s a disastrous and big statement for Kiran to make to me. She fears for her child. She fears about what the atmosphere around us will be. She feels scared to open the newspapers every day. That does indicate that there is this sense of growing disquiet, there is growing despondency apart from alarm. You feel why this is happening, you feel low. That sense does exist in me.”

This seems to have come out of nowhere. In fact, his message of ‘intolerance’ has quickly become quite ‘intolerable’ for a lot of us. Daljit aka DJ of Rang De Basanti fought against injustice and gave up his life. As host of Satyamev Jayate, the Khan criticised corruption and urged Indians to fight it alongside him. And remember Bhuvan in Lagaan? That poor fellow, along with his village men fought against the arrogant officers of the British Empire.

And what does the real Aamir decide to do? Leave the ‘Incredible India’ he’s so far been promoting! The actor who has always been vocal about bringing change in India is now thinking of changing his postal address. Aamir Khan, who has been born and brought up in India, today feels insecure in his very own country. If there’s one actor who’s had smooth sailing in the film industry, it’s been Aamir. He has never been called a Pakistani agent by Hindu radicals (unlike other actors we know). He never had to assert his ‘Indian-ness’ (unlike Sania Mirza). However, now the Superstar Aamir Khan’s comments on growing intolerance have not only create fury among the radical Modi followers but have provoked sharp reactions on Twitter with his industry colleagues Anupam Kher and Ram Gopal Varma, also who are asking “When did ‘Incredible India’ become ‘Intolerant India’ for you”.

Suddenly those colleagues who were keeping their 50 years old friend very close to their hearts have turned against him for speaking truth. Anupam Kher, who shared screen space with Aamir in “Dil”, “Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin” among others, hit out at him saying, “India has made him what he is”. Not only this, Anupam in fact sent him a tweet as well,saying, “”Dear @aamir_khan. Did you ask Kiran which country would she like to move out to? Did you tell her that this country has made you AAMIR KHAN. Did you tell Kiran that you have lived through worse times in this country but you never thought of moving out?”

Aamir Khan’s comments on growing intolerance have provoked mixed responses on various media forums and public. While several of his industry colleagues have hit out at the actor, many people, including Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, have also come out in support of the actor. Nevertheless, the extremist Hindus have lashed out at him madly and have made comments like, “Go and live in Pakistan; I will buy you the ticket if you want to take the first flight out of India; how dare you criticise the country that has given you so much”. For disturbing evidence of our growing intolerance to criticism and freedom of expression, you need to look beyond such bitter, unstable reactions to actor Aamir Khan’s statement that his wife Kiran Rao suggested leaving India.

Aamir Khan has every right to express his fears, to share his concerns. Frankly, any Indian would have battled with private demons after being treated the way Aamir Khan was after the release of PK. Bollywood films have successfully ridiculed god men before, most recently in Oh My God! But PK hit the screens after the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) came to power last year on the wings of a strong popular mandate for its leader, Narendra Modi, hence Amir Khan had to face the music and as a result, newly empowered radical Hindu organisations affiliated to the BJP pounced on PK after its release. Nationwide protests were being organised outside cinemas, even vandalising a few and forcing some to cancel screenings.

Currently poor Amir Khan is in a great fix and paying for his straight forwardness and honesty through his nose. The reaction of hostile crowds outside his residence and elsewhere in India condemning him confirm his wife Kiran Rao’s thoughts about feeling unsafe in India. The life of a common Muslim in India is becoming difficult with every coming day. One can understand that if a person of Amir Khan’s stature can become unsafe in intolerant India then what could be the fate of lower class Muslims of this sham secular country of the world?

The Unforgettable Black November of 1947

At times I feel disappointed to see the attitude of those ignorant Pakistanis who are desperate to have cordial and warm relations with a cunning neighbour like India, amidst the latter’s dual character, atrocities in Kashmir and the brutal killings of the Muslims and other minorities of India. One fails to understand that how could one ever think of having friendly relations with a neighbour who has never admitted your existence ever since the independence?

The history of Kashmir is full of bloody accounts of killings, tortures and rapes of the innocent Muslims at the hands of the brutal Indian forces and the corneas of Maharaja Hari Singh. How can one forget the ruthless and heinous killing of over 2.5 lakh Kashmiri Muslim immigrants on 6 November 1947 in Jammu and surroundings? During the partition of the Sub-continent, the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) which comprised Muslim majority decided to join Pakistan according to the British-led formula, however, Dogra Raja Hari Singh, a Hindu who was ruling over the J&K, in connivance with the Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and Governor General Lord Mountbatten, treacherously joined India.

The design to wrest Kashmir under duress began to open out on August 16, 1947, with the announcement of the Radcliffe Boundary Award which gave away the Gurdaspur District; a majority Muslim area to India to provide a land route to the Indian armed forces to move into Kashmir. There was a rebellion in the state forces, which revolted against the Maharaja and were joined by the tribesmen from the NWFP (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa). Lord Mountbatten ordered armed forces to land in Srinagar. When Pakistan responded militarily against the Indian aggression, on December 31, 1947, India made an appeal to the UN Security Council to intervene and a ceasefire ultimately came into effect on January 01, 1949, following UN resolutions calling for a plebiscite in Kashmir to enable the people of Jammu and Kashmir to determine whether they wish to join Pakistan or India. On February 5, 1964, India backed out of its promise of holding plebiscite. Instead, in March 1965, the Indian Parliament passed a bill, declaring Kashmir a province of India-an integral part of the Indian union.

As part of pre-planned plot, on November 5, 1947, announcements were made everywhere in Jammu, asking Muslims to assemble in police lines where from they would be sent to Pakistan. On November 6, Jammu Muslims including men women and children were seemingly dispatched towards Pakistan in trucks, nevertheless, before they could reach the destination, Indian army, forces of Maharaja and Hindu Mahasabai goons and extremists at Samba Reasi and other places martyred them in gruesome manner. Thus, over 2.50 lakh Muslim inmates of Jammu city and adjoining areas were killed through a mass murder plan which could be termed as the holocaust of the subcontinent. As it was expected, the huge deaths had stunned the world and the ‘Time” magazine, in its November 47 publication also pointed out the figure of 2, 50,000 deaths of Jammu people.

According to a report on human rights violations in the Indian Occupied Kashmir, since 1989, there have been deaths of 1,00000 innocent Kashmiris, 7,023 custodial killings, 1,22,771 arrests, 1,05,996 destruction of houses or buildings, 22,776 women widowed, 1,07,466 children orphaned and 10,086 women gang-raped/molested. Besides Human Rights Watch, in its various reports, Amnesty International has also pointed out grave human rights violations in the Indian controlled Kashmir, indicating, “The Muslim majority population in the Kashmir Valley suffers from the repressive tactics of the security In its report on July 2, 2015, the Amnesty International has highlighted extrajudicial killings of the innocent persons at the hands of Indian security forces in the Indian Held Kashmir. The report points out, “Tens of thousands of security forces are deployed in Indian-administered Kashmir…the Armed Forces Special Powers Act allows troops to shoot to kill suspected militants or arrest them without a warrant…not a single member of the armed forces has been tried in a civilian court for violating human rights in Kashmir…this lack of accountability has in turn facilitated other serious abuses…India has martyred one 100,000 people. More than 8,000 disappeared (while) in the custody of army and state police.” In this respect, European Union has passed a resolution about human rights abuses committed by Indian forces in the Indian held Kashmir. It is of particular attention that in 2008, a rights group reported unmarked graves in 55 villages across the northern regions of the Indian-held Kashmir. Then researchers and other groups reported finding thousands of mass graves without markers. In this respect, in August, 2011, Indian Jammu and Kashmir State Human Rights Commission officially acknowledged in its report that innocent civilians killed in the two-decade conflict have been buried in unmarked Notably, foreign sources and human rights organisations have revealed that unnamed graves include those innocent persons, killed by the Indian military and paramilitary troops in the fake encounters including those who were tortured to death by the Indian secret agency RAW. Indian authorities are not willing to talk with Kashmiri people on political grounds. New Delhi reached to a conclusion that only bullet is the right way of dealing with Kashmiris, demanding their right of self-determination.

Nonetheless, 6th of November is commemorated by the Kashmiris and Pakistanis as the Jammu Martyrs Day; another gloomy day to remember the supreme sacrifices of lives, laid down by 2,50,000 people of Jammu, who were ruthlessly massacred by the Hindu extremists, Indian forces and the Dogra military troops on November 6, 1947. No doubt that the people of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir display solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren in Pakistan, AJ7K and elsewhere in the world. Special ceremonies including seminars and symposiums are held in the small and major towns of AJK to pay glorious tributes to the Jammu martyrs. Besides that the Jammu Martyrs Day is also observed at both sides of line of control in Jammu and Kashmir like the rest of the world every year to commemorate the supreme sacrifices, however there are two main issues which keep disturbing the concerned minds; for how long the Kashmiris will remain the children of a lesser god and secondly when will the conscience of those ignorant people will wake up who, in the middle of this endless killing are showing a lost sleep to have friendly relations with “Killer India”?.

Iqbal Died at the Hands of the Politicians

First time in the history of Pakistan Allama Iqbal’s birthday was made controversial; deliberately or by err but certainly the attempts were made to lower his gigantic stature which was prevailing ever since the Subcontinent’s independence movement. Declaring his birthday as a national holiday was just a small token of humble deference which this indebted nation could offer to the Thinker of a separate Muslim State; nevertheless, since many years the deliberate campaigns were launched in print, electronic and social media to belittle his image of a hero, legend and Messiah for the Muslims of Indo-Pak. Confusion at the national level was created by cancelling the national holiday. Later a mockery was made of the decision when in federal areas it was declared as a working day while in some of the provinces it was declared as the holiday. To be honest Allama Iqbal never deserved this sort of treatment. His role as the Thinker of Pakistan stays beyond any doubt, come what may. As a matter of fact his role was more important and worth acknowledging since he was the one who convinced Quaid e Azam to lead the Muslims of India during their struggle for the freedom movement. He is regarded as the only philosopher, poet and politician in British India who inspired the Pakistan Movement. He is considered undisputedly one of the most important figures in Urdu literature, with literary work in both the Urdu and Persian languages.

Now the time has come that every Tom, Dick and Harry can get up and picks the courage and guts to criticise Iqbal. There are idiots like Hassan Nisar who remained drunk for 25 hours out of 24 hours and then publically talk nonsense like blaming the great poet of the East and accusing him for the downfall of the young generation specifically and the nation generally. The Pseudo like Hassan Nisar and Pervez Hoodbhoy have done a great damage to our national heritage through their careless, irresponsible and immature behaviour. They are playing their role to belittle the image our national heroes, purposely.

Iqbal was born in Sialkot with ancestral roots to the Brahmins from Kashmir who converted to Islam. Iqbal is admired as a prominent classical poet by Pakistani, Indian and other international scholars of literature besides been acclaimed as a modern Muslim philosopher. Although his first poetry book, Asrar-e-Khudi, appeared in the Persian language in 1915, however his Urdu works like Bang-i-Dara, Bal-i-Jibril and Zarb-i Kalim attained more fame and popularity in the Subcontinent. In Iran and Afghanistan he is famous as Iqbal-e Lahori (Iqbal of Lahore), and he is most appreciated for his Persian work. Iqbal is known as Shair-e-Mushriq meaning Poet of the East. He is also called Muffakir-e-Pakistan (The Inceptor of Pakistan), and Hakeem-ul-Ummat (The Sage of the Ummah). Pakistan has officially recognised him as its “national poet”.

Iqbal had remained active in the Muslim League as he did not support Indian involvement in World War I and remained in close touch with Muslim political leaders such as Maulana Mohammad Ali Johar and Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He was a critic of the mainstream Indian National Congress, which he regarded as dominated by Hindus and was saddened with the League’s factional division during 1920, when it gashed into the pro-British group led by Sir Muhammad Shafi and the centrist group led by Jinnah. He supported the constitutional proposals presented by Jinnah while parallel worked with Aga Khan and other Muslim leaders to mend the factional divisions and accomplish unity in the Muslim League.

Disillusioned with the political elite of the Muslim League Iqbal came to believe that only Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a political leader capable of preserving this unity and fulfilling the League’s objectives on Muslim political empowerment besides drawing Indian Muslims to the League and maintaining party unity before the British and the Congress. Building a strong, personal communication with Jinnah, Iqbal was a dominant force in convincing Jinnah to end his self-imposed exile in London, return to India and take charge of the League, hence he wrote him, “I know you are a busy man but I do hope you won’t mind my writing to you often, as you are the only Muslim in India today to whom the community has right to look up for safe guidance through the storm which is coming to North-West India and, perhaps, to the whole of India.”

Iqbal always paid special attention towards awakening the Muslim youth. He was invited to Cambridge to participate in a conference in 1931, where he expressed his inspired vision to students and other audience in a historic speech, “I would like to offer a few pieces of advice to the young men who are at present studying at Cambridge …… I advise you to guard against atheism and materialism. The biggest blunder made by Europe was the separation of Church and State. This deprived their culture of moral soul and diverted it to the atheistic materialism. I had twenty-five years ago seen through the drawbacks of this civilization and therefore had made some prophecies. They had been delivered by my tongue although I did not quite understand them. This happened in 1907….. After six or seven years, my prophecies came true, word by word. The European war of 1914 was an outcome of the aforesaid mistakes made by the European nations in the separation of the Church and the State”.

Allama Iqbal was the poet of the Pakistan who will remain in the heart of every Pakistani particularly and every Muslim generally. While taking look at few of his masterpiece works, one can conveniently visualise that what service he did for the freedom of the Muslims of the Subcontinent and the unity of the Islamic Ummah;  Asrar-e-Khudi, Zabur-i-Ajam, Zarb-i-Mashriq, Ilm ul Iqtisad in 1903, Rumuz-i-Bekhudi in 1917, Payam-i-Mashriq in 1923, Javid Nama in 1832, Armughan-e-Hijaz in 1938, Bang-i-Dara in 1924, Bal-i-Jibril in 1935, Zarb-i Kalim in 1936, The Development of Metaphysics in Persia in 1909 and The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam in 1930.

Agreed that merely a holiday on his birthday wont serve the cause or will raise his image further but it is just a small token to acknowledge his role in the founding of a Muslim independent state. If we honestly analyse then there are many other closed holidays given throughout the year which are otherwise not relevant or important and the government needs to cancel those. As earlier said that a specific lobby with the vested interests is quite active since couple of years to defame this great poet of the East and no wonders if these elements once succeed in their mission will take on Muhammad Ali Jinnah as their next target because their mission is to ridicule our national heroes and undermine their images. If people at the helm of the affairs sincerely think that these holidays have got nothing to do with the cause they served then let’s do away with the one on Quaid’s birthday too.

Allama Iqbal very rightly said and I quote, “Nations are born in the hearts of poets, they prosper and die in the hands of politicians”.

IS Israel Behind Paris Attacks?

Much has been written and said by writers and analysts of print and electronic media about the coordinated terror attacks in a stadium, a hall, restaurants and bars across Paris which left more than 130 innocent persons dead and more than 350 injured, on the night of November 13. The opinion of Christians, Jews and Muslims is divided, while elaborating the Paris tragedy in accordance with their own peculiar religious background. Prejudice is ruining so high against one another that by reading the name, some people of the opposite side ignore his views. Despite it, fact remains that we are living in a world of Zionist-controlled media which is very strong and whatever it release by concealing truth and propagating Israeli interests as part of the disinformation, impress the politicians and general masses in the whole world.

In this regard, scholars of international affairs agree that “foreign affairs are too foreign” to the citizens of a country. Renowned scholar Prof. Hoslti opines that “issues and situations” have “influence on public opinion” which in turn “influences the objectives and actions.”  

In fact, fault can not be laid on the general masses, a majority of whom does not have much time to go in-depth. Hence, they are swayed by emotions, stereotypes and prejudices created by the political leaders who keep on manipulating any crisis for their own self-interests with the sole aim of getting their sympathies to increase their vote bank. There are equal strong pressures from religious and nationalist forces in wake of global war on terror which is dividing the world on religious lines.

Judging in these terms, like the 9/11 tragedy, politicians are again misguiding the general public against the Islamic World by exploiting the critical situation, after the Paris disaster which needs appropriate analysis to know, is Israel behind the Paris attacks?

Prosecutors pointed out that there were seven attackers killed in total, working as part of three multinational teams with links to the Middle East, Belgium and possibly Germany as well as home-grown French roots.

In its video message, titled, “A Statement on the Blessed Onslaught in Paris against the Crusader Nation of France,” Islamic State group (Daesh or ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for the Paris carnage. The man who appears to speak with an American accent, said, “The soldiers of the Caliphate set out targeting the capital of prostitution and vice, the lead carrier of the cross in Europe…Paris…to teach France, and all nations following its path, that they will remain at the top of Islamic State’s list of targets.”

French President Francois Hollande who declared emergency in the country, said, “It is an act of war that was committed by a terrorist army, a jihadist army, Daesh against France…France would act with “all the necessary means, and on all terrains, inside and outside, in coordination with our allies, who are, themselves, targeted by this terrorist threat.”

As a matter of fact, the US President Barrack Obama, the neoconservatives and the Zionist-lobbies who have been backing the ‘different war’ for a greater Israel, at cost of the Muslim World and the loyalist Americans were badly frustrated by the recent developments such as Russian airstrikes on the ISIS strongholds in the northern Syria and Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, its coalition with Iran, Iraq and Syria in support of President Bashar al-Assad, retreat of the CIA-supported rebels and mercenaries after their failure to topple his government, proving links of Al-Qaeda and ISIS with America and Israeli, Putin’s clear-cut statement, indicating the Zionist regime in the US and  Israel for their “phony war on ISIS”, and remarking, “NWO (New Word Order) agents and Satan worshipers simply have no clothes,” including the Vienna meeting where the US Secretary of State John Kerry agreed to keep the Syrian president in power, not to allow ISIS militants group to reign in Syria, absence of Israel in the meeting and America’s decision of  sending 50 special forces to Syria to help in taking down ISIS terrorists had clearly exposed the covert aims of the US global war on terror.  

Besides, other developments such as decision of the Canadian-nominated new prime minister Justin Trudeau to withdraw Canadian fighter jets from the US-led mission against ISIS, British Prime Minister David Cameron’s announcement to abandon plans to carry out airstrikes against ISIS positions in Syria, after his failure to receive support from Labour MPs, reluctance of NATO countries to support America’s fake global war on terror and double game of striking the ISIS activists, acceptance of Syrian refuges by the European countries, especially Germany, the EU rule to boycott goods produced in Israeli settlements on the West Bank, including US internal problems like curtailment of liberties, failure of the of Obamacare, leakage of Transpacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA), (An agreement to suppress sovereign democratic rights in favour of multinational corporations), criticism of Hilary Clinton about contributions of election-campaign from Wall Street backers etc. have disappointed the Obama Administration. While elections are near, Republicans and American public are also criticizing the government of Democrats and CIA for America’s (NATO) longest war in Afghanistan, facing defeatism, useless proxy wars under the cover of global war on terror and US heavy cost of war which caused serious financial crisis, adding to the dilemmas of Americans.

By continuing the secret strategy of his predecessor—occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, Obama-led Administration went on with various techniques of ruthless terror and extrajudicial killings of the innocent persons—assisting undemocratic forces, toppling the elected government in Egypt, and like Iraq, creation of more failed states such as Libya, Syria, Yemen etc., opening the doors for Al-Qaeda and ISIS militants, throwing the Middle East in an era of chaos and covert assistance to Tel Aviv’s systematic genocide of the Palestinians to obtain the Zionist goal of establishing Israel’s supremacy in the Middle East in particular and the world in general.

Now, it was proved that under that the mask of the 9/11 mayhem, the US had orchestrated the drama of global war on terror which was exposed. In this context, frustrated Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu also evolved a new theory of the Holocaust to get the sympathies of the US-led western entities by revealing, “Hitler didn’t want to exterminate the Jews, he wanted to expel the Jews…a World War II-era Palestinian leader, the Mufti of Jerusalem, Nazi sympathizer, Haj Amin al-Husseini convinced Hitler to adopt their final solution to exterminate Jews.”

It is of particular attention that on January 7, 2015, two Islamic militants attacked the office of French satirical weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and killed 13 people on January 9, 2015, two brothers namely Said and Cherif Kouachi suspected for the incident were killed in a shoot out with Police—in a hostage-taking situation, at a signage company in Dammartinen-Goele where some people were also targeted. Thus, the gunmen killed total 17 persons. In this context, on January 11, 2015, a rally was organized in Paris—with an estimated 1.6 million people in which 40 world leaders including Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu participated to express solidarity with the magazine. Afterwards, the Israeli secret agency Mossad’s connections with Charlie Hebdo incident had been proved by many serious writers, analysts and social media bloggers—a video titled “Did Mossad Do Charlie Hebdo” prepared/uploaded by www.brothernathanaelchanne.com is worth-watching. In fact, besides creating differences between Christians and Muslims, Zionist groups and Mossad used the episode to punish France on recognizing Palestinian state and to desist other EU countries to avoid such approach on Palestinians.  

However, in order to revive the global war on terror, the neo-conservatives, Zionists and Israel needed the assistance of the whole Europe. For the purpose, conspiracy was definitely prepared and the leading role was played by Mossad. In this respect, arrest of Israeli Col. Shahak in Iraq, his admission, proving links of Al-Qaeda and ISIS with America and Israel (Mossad) and medical treatment of the ISIS warriors in the Israeli hospitals (Disclosed by online sources) might be cited as example. ISIS which was already being assisted by the CIA and Mossad was directed to send its militants in Paris.

As regards terrorism, Machiavelli advises the rulers to have a lion-like image outwardly, and act upon the traits of goat inwardly. He also suggests them foreign adventures and the use of terror to obtain their goals. In his sense, a good ruler should be a good opportunist and hypocrite. While echoing Machiavelli, Morgenthau points out that sometimes, rulers act upon immoral activities like deceit, fraud, falsehood and even murder to fulfill their selfish aims.

Nevertheless, Israel was behind Paris terror attacks to achieve multiple-objectives (Including geopolitical interests) of Tel Aviv and Obama Administration against the Islamic World and Russia, without bothering for the fact that further instability in the world will jeopardize the economic interests of the US at cost of the patriot Americans.

It is requested to the European rulers and leaders, particularly those of the France to learn a positive lesson from the 9/11 tragedy, and its drastic aftermath, and not to create similar chauvinism by instigating ‘emotionalism’ among the peoples of Europe, which was infuriated by the then President Bush and Zionist-controlled media. Latest reports indicate that like the aftermath of the 9/11 disaster, persecution of the Muslims have started and some westerners have also targeted the mosques. Europe has been put on high alert and Paris attacks are being taken as assaults on the whole continent. At this critical juncture, the leaders of Europe and especially of France including their media require cool-mindedness and patience to know the real plot behind Paris tragedy, and to avoid ‘clash of civilizations,” while the world has already been radicalized by the conspirators.

Double Game Franchised Al-Qaeda and ISIS?

Everyone knows that Al-Qaeda and Afghan Taliban were created by the American CIA to fight against the former Soviet Union in Afghanistan.

In this regard, former British Foreign secretary, Robin Cook stated, “Throughout the 1980s, he [Bin Laden] was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan.”

The then US National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski met Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden and said about the militants (Mujahideen), “We know of their deep belief in God, and we are confident their struggle will succeed…because, you are fighting against the infidel Russians.”

However, after fulfilling their interests, Washington had left Afghanistan in particular and Pakistan in general to face the fallout of a prolonged conflict—terrorism and instability. These Mujahideen who pulled the Russians out of Afghanistan, later become the Taliban, Al- Qaeda (New version) and the Muslim Brotherhood, ISIS or ISIL etc. They got the label of terrorists.

After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, American former President Bush (The Senior) in connivance with his Zionist-advisers took the Islamic fundamentalism as a great threat. Since then, sometimes, Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda have continuously been used by the US and some western countries as a scapegoat to malign Pakistan for ‘de-nuclearisation,’ as the latter is the only nuclear country in the Muslim World. Sometimes, bogey of Al-Qaeda is raised to achieve their goals of external policy, and sometimes to pacify their public including the opposition. In all cases, the purpose behind has been to safeguard the interests of the Zionists and Israel.

As regards the US double game, in December 2001, Bin Laden was within the reach of US troops in Tora Bora. But, they did not pursue him, and as per direction of their leader opened the door for his escape to Pakistan.

The Christian Science Monitor in its February 06, 2002 edition, while describing the battle at Tora Bora, concluded that “Bin Laden escaped to Iran.” It had coincided with the US concerns that Iran is harboring Al-Qaeda refugees. As part of the deliberate game, America’s war-mongering diplomacy against Tehran was justified.

On November 13, 2009, a Reuters report quoting Labeviere’s book “Corridors of Terror” (Released in November 2003) points to negotiations between Bin Laden and CIA, which took place two months prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks-at the American Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, when Bin Laden was under a kidney dialysis treatment.

Meanwhile, while making Osama and Al-Qaeda as scapegoats, a number of fake video messages were telecast on various TV channels and websites by some Zionists to obtain Israel’s anti-Muslim goals. For example, during the November 2004 elections in the US, a fake video tape helped the ex-president George W. Bush to get lead over John Kerry.

It is well-known that in a tape released on December 27, 2001, the authenticity of which is not in question, Osama denied any involvement in the September 11 tragedy. However, later, two video tapes appeared to validate his guilt in relation to 9/11, because the main aims of the Bush administration were to provoke American public against the Muslims and to justify global war on terror—the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq to possess energy resources of Central Asia and Iraq, including proxy wars in other Middle Eastern countries and to get their support for a propaganda campaign against Pakistan and Iran. Besides other actions of Bush era such as America’s state-sponsored terrorism in the volatile Islamic countries, persecution of Muslims through torture, detentions and arrests, CIA and FBI-operated facilities, radicalising the western Christians against the Muslims, while providing a golden chance to Tel Aviv to accelerate the systematic genocide of the Palestinians—protecting the real architects of the 9/11 tragedy.

Recall, just after the September 11 disaster, Bush and Zionist-controlled media deliberately developed chauvinism among the Americans. There had been an organised campaign against the Muslims in the US and other western countries. Its main themes were that Islam and the Muslims were the true cause of terrorism.

Anti-Muslim move could also be judged from an article, titled: ‘Their Target: The Modern World’, published in the special issue of American weekly, ‘Newsweek’ in which Prof. Francis Fukuyama (The author of ‘The End of History and the Last Man’) wrote, “The real enemy: radical Islamists intolerant of all diversity and dissent, have become fascists of our day and that is what we are fighting against.”

It was because of the dual strategy of Bush through war on terror—on global and regional level, which continued by various tactics of state terrorism and on the other side, response of Al-Qaeda militants by clandestine terror attacks, as shown through a number of the past suicidal missions such as on Indonesian resort island of Bali, Saudi Arabia, Spain and a series of bomb attacks on London’s transport network etc., including those ones in other Afro-Asian countries have clearly pointed out that Al-Qaeda was organized on world level. But, the outfit lost control on its affiliated militant groups. Al-Qaeda’s decimated old guard may no longer be able to mount elaborately detailed plots, executed by other trained terrorists of various new groups which claim their links with Al-Qaeda, but, are not under its direct command. For example, in Somalia—splitting away of a hardliner-faction Al-Shabaab is an offshoot of the Islamic Courts Union. The US defined Al-Shabaab as Al-Qaida allies. The reality is that there have been militant groups in Africa which have described themselves as being Al-Qaida. Some have been associated with the core of Bin Laden’s ideology and were involved in early Al-Qaida spectaculars in Africa.

In this connection, about the two bombs which blew the 18-story headquarters of the British-owned HSBC bank and the British consulate in Istanbul in November, 2003, Turkish officials had remarked that these were the work of homegrown extremists.

In March 2004, the former CIA Director, George Tenet said, “Al-Qaeda has become a loose collection of regional networks working autonomously-[they] pick their own targets, they plan their own attacks…in this new phase of franchise terrorism, Al-Qaeda has been described as an idea rather than an organization.”

In fact, there are several groups of Al-Qaeda, ISIS and Taliban like Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). Some of them are being used by secret agencies like CIA, Israeli Mossad and Indian RAW to obtain the collective and individual designs of their countries against Pakistan, Middle East and other Muslim countries. But, like the double game of America, Israel and India, Al-Qaeda, ISIS and TTP also play double game. The leaders of these militant outfits work for these secret agencies, while, they motivate the common Muslims for suicide attacks and terror-related activities as part of Jihad. Otherwise, Jihad does not permit suicide attacks. Like other religions, Islam is a religion of peace and prohibits any sort of terrorism.

Iraq-based ISIS which itself broke away from Al-Qaeda, proclaimed a worldwide caliphate by its leader Abu Baker al-Baghdadi, on 29 June 2014. ISIS’s criminal actions had widely been criticized in the world, with many Islamic communities judging the group to be unrepresentative of Islam. One of ISIS’s goals has been to establish a radical Sunni Islamic state in Iraq and Syria Jordan, Palestine etc. (Levant region). It has been used by the US and Israel for distorting the image of Islam and for inciting the feelings of western Christians and Kurds against Muslims. For the purpose, like Al-Qaeda, it is widely known for its violent acts and propaganda which includes Internet videos of beheadings etc. However, besides some Islamic countries, a majority of the religious extremists (Muslims) from the western world joined the ISIS. In this context, oblivion on the part of the west about ISIS recruits from their countries is questionable.

Nevertheless, if the double game of President Bush (The Senior) and George W. Bush franchised Al-Qaeda on global level, President Obama’s dual policy franchised both Al-Qaeda and ISIS as part of the anti-Muslim campaign and left no stone unturned in advancing the agenda of the Zionists, Israeli lobbies and the neoconservatives in the pretext of global war on terror. Secretly, Obama authorized CIA to create ISIS. His perennial covert support to the Israeli atrocities on the Palestinians, Gaza blockade, silence over the supply (Smuggling) of oil by ISIS to some European countries, toppling the elected government in Egypt, creation of more collapsed states such as Libya, Syria, Yemen etc., CIA-assisted Al-Qaeda (Al-Nusra Front) and ISIS militants, continued sectarian violence and prolonged engagement of its troops (NATO) in Afghanistan might be cited as instance. Moreover, the Middle East was deliberately thrown in worst form of terrorism and civil wars for achieving the goal of a greater Israel.

US-led Israeli entities were frustrated by the recent developments such as Russian airstrikes on the ISIS terrorist’s installations in the northern Syria, Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, across the Lebanon-Israeli border, Russian coalition with Iran, Iraq and Syria in support of President Bashar al-Assad, retreat of the CIA-rebels and mercenaries, their failure to topple the Assad regime, arrest of Israeli Col. Shahak in Iraq, his admission, proving links of Al-Qaeda and ISIS with America and Israel (Israeli Mossad), including the Vienna meeting where the US Secretary of State John Kerry agreed to keep the Syrian president in power, not to allow ISIS militant group to reign in Syria and America’s decision of sending 50 special forces to Syria to help in rooting out ISIS terrorists have clearly exposed the double game.

Thus, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in fact, exposed the US fake war on terror, saying that the New World Oder agents—the Zionist regime in America and Israel have no cloths.  

Besides, some recent developments such as decision of the Canadian-nominated new prime minister Justin Trudeau to withdraw Canadian fighter jets from the US-led mission against ISIS, British Prime Minister David Cameron’s announcement to abandon plans to carry out airstrikes against ISIS positions in Syria, after his failure to receive support from Labour MPs, reluctance of NATO countries to support America’s fake global war on terror and double game of striking the ISIS activists, acceptance of Syrian refuges by the European countries, especially Germany and the EU rule to boycott goods produced in Israeli settlements on the West Bank prove that Mossad used ISIS to conduct the November 13 terror-attacks in Paris  to revive the global war on terror, and to obtain the aims of the neo-conservatives, Zionists and Israel, as they needed the assistance of the whole Europe against the Muslims.

The Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom’s statement, hours after the Paris attacks caused a stir in Jerusalem, as she said that “to counteract the radicalization, we must go back to the situation in the Middle East of which not the least the Palestinians see that there is no future: we must either accept a desperate situation or resort to violence.”

Meanwhile, the mastermind of the Paris attacks was killed by the French forces, including a woman who blew herself up during a shootout with police.

In the post-November 13 phenomena, Europe has been put on high alert and Paris terror assaults are being taken as attacks on the whole continent. After arrests and killings of the suspected persons and masterminds of the Paris catastrophe—having connections with ISIS, western citizens feel panic, while the Muslims there are facing harassment owing to their persecution.

Manipulating the terrorism-acts in Paris and its aftermath, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and their media are propagating that same radical Islam which is behind Israel is also behind Paris attacks. Like the drastic aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy, they want to hold all the Muslims responsible for the mayhem in order to divert the attention of the west from the real culprits. Notably, the French authorities said that they have killed the masterminds of the Paris attacks. But, reports from Tel Aviv say that the real mastermind is in Syria.

It is of particular attention that in 2009, when more than 12 Pakistani students were arrested in UK in connection with terrorism, the then British Prime Minister Gordon Brown had sated that the most dangerous plot had been foiled by the police. But, afterwards, British authorities released the students and admitted that they had no link with terrorism. In this context, earlier, Zionist-controlled media and US-led some European powers were propagating that any conspiracy to attack the US homeland and Europe with chemical weapons or dirty nuclear bomb would be prepared in Pakistan’s tribal areas. Now, after the Paris terror attacks, they have changed the side of their propaganda machinery towards Syria, raising same misconceptions to misguide the west.  

Indicating the double game, Hans J. Morgenthau, and Palmer and Perkins opine, “Just as power became the instrument of ambitious nationalism and state’s leaders, it has now become the tool of ideologies. The true nature of the policy is concealed by ideological justifications and rationalization. Therefore, the ideology provides a mask behind which the ulterior motives are concealed.”

Although, European rulers and leaders, particularly of France know that who are playing double game, yet they cannot point out owing to diplomatic decorum. Hence, France has decided to join the Russian coalition to eliminate ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Meanwhile, it is a good sign that other countries like UK are considering a broader alliance (Including Russia) in this respect. Because of internal criticism in relation to phony war on terror and on ISIS, even President Obama has also announced to join such a larger alliance.   

Nonetheless, fanatics and extremists are found in every religious community. Therefore, taking note of the double game which franchised Al-Qaeda and ISIS, moderate and peace-loving Muslims, Jews, Christians and Hindus must play their positive role in thwarting the conspiracy of those plotters who intend to take the world to “Clash of Civilizations.” Instead of engaging themselves in controversial debate on the alternative media (Internet), they must utilize it for the larger interest of humanity.

Paris Tragedy: Anti-Muslim Chauvinism in France

Just after the simultaneous terror attacks in Paris which killed more than 130 persons, on November 13, the people of France, the government and the media became one. A wave of anti-Muslim chauvinism could be seen in France in particular and the whole Europe in general.

French President Francois Hollande who declared emergency in the country, said, “It is an act of war that was committed by a terrorist army, a jihadist army, Daesh [Islamic State group or ISIS/ISIL] against France…France would act with “all the necessary means, and on all terrains, inside and outside, in coordination with our allies, who are, themselves, targeted by this terrorist threat.”

Recall, just after the September 11 tragedy inside the United States, chauvinism and extremism were deliberately developed among the Americans through media and statements of high officials of the Bush Administration. President Bush used the words, “crusade against the evil-doers”, adding to the perception that the ongoing ‘different war’ against terrorism is actually a war against the Muslim countries. Inside the US, suddenly, every Muslim found himself divested of his nationality. Arrests, detentions and harassment of the Muslims by the CIA and the FBI were other steps which still continue. Israeli atrocities on the Palestinians were brushed aside.

Learning no lesson from the drastic aftermath and the implications of the post-9/11 tragedy, some irresponsible politicians, writers and think-tanks of France and their media are repeating similar anti-Muslim chauvinism in France by manipulating the Paris tragedy, which could divide the world on religious lines. Now, persecution of the Muslims in France has been accelerated.

In fact, there are some other purposes behind creation of xenophobia against the Muslims in France, which need appropriate analysis.

France has a population of six million Muslims, the largest in the Western Europe. At least two million Muslims have French citizenship. The Muslim community is made up of immigrants from Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria and a small population from South Asia. The immigration started in 1960-70s and consisted mainly of “economic migrants,” who filled the blue collared jobs which the native French did not want. However, their second and third generation is educated, but ostracized from the mainstream French society. The reasons of this isolation are usually attributed to the inability of Muslim community to integrate in the French “secular” society.

French perceptions of Muslims and Islam changed significantly over the past decade. Since 9/11, a number of terrorist attacks in Europe, and in particular in France led to an increase in debates, such as “Clash of Civilizations”, “Islamisation of Europe” and the “Islam problem.” It has, thus resulted in dividing the French society between “us” and “them.”

As the fear of Muslims and Islam grows in Europe, France has enacted a number of laws to maintain the “secularism” of the French society. In this respect, the controversial ban on the traditional veil, worn by Muslim women is notable. France has banned the traditional veil in public areas, considering it to be a symbol of “oppression” against women. Consequently, women, wearing veils cannot enter universities, banks, hospitals, offices etc., thus making it difficult for Muslim women to avail public facilities.

Head scarves and other religious traditional dresses have been banned in schools. This has, mainly, affected Muslim children. While, proposals for discontinuation of substitute for pork and “Halal”(Permitted in Islam) food in school cafeterias are also being voiced.

In the post 9/11 period, various laws were passed in France, which also increased the powers of police. These include: search and detention of people, extensive monitoring, recording etc. Muslim population has mostly been affected by these laws with identity checks and increased surveillance.

Many Muslims, nevertheless, find these laws part of discrimination, which have further broadened the divide between the Muslim community and the Christians.

Besides, the Muslim youth is facing discrimination in employment opportunities. In this context, “Muslim Diaspora” is twice more likely to work in factories than the rest of French force. They are also underrepresented in executive positions.

The Charlie Hebdo incident has also put Muslim population under greater scrutiny. Violence against Muslims increased twofold after the incident. As regards the incident, on January 7, 2015, two Islamic militants attacked the office of French satirical weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo in Paris, and killed 13 people on January 9, 2015, two brothers namely Said and Cherif Kouachi suspected for the incident were killed in a shoot out with Police—in a hostage-taking situation, at a signage company in Dammartinen-Goele where some people were also targeted. Thus, the gunmen killed total 17 persons. Afterwards, the Israeli secret agency Mossad’s connections with Charlie Hebdo episode had been proved by many serious writers, analysts and social media bloggers—a video titled “Did Mossad Do Charlie Hebdo” prepared/uploaded by www.brothernathanaelchanne.com is worth-watching. In fact, besides creating differences between Christians and Muslims, Zionist groups and Mossad used the episode to punish France on recognizing Palestinian state and to desist other EU countries to avoid such approach on Palestinians.  

Nevertheless, as part of discrimination, radicalized Muslim inmates are detained separately from the rest of the inmates. The second and third generation Muslim youth which has been brought up and educated in France, is faced with an “identity crisis,” despite being a French Muslim in a society which is unwilling to accept them as truly French. This lack of identity has led to a number of French citizens to fight in Syria.

Media has also played a major role in increasing the paranoia against Islam and Muslims in the European society. It is again mentionable that the satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo was attacked early this year by two Algerian Muslim brothers, because it printed controversial cartoons, which had greatly hurt the sentiments of Muslims around the world. Mossad exploited the anti-Muslim approach of France, and indirectly used these Algerian Muslims through ISIS. However, the magazine continues to print anti-Muslim publications, under the pretext of freedom of speech, thus creating resentment in the Muslim community. Similarly, one of the most confrontational debated books of this year has been, “Submission” by Michel Houellebecq, which portrays France being ruled under Islamic law by 2022. The book thrives on paranoia of the European society towards Islam and Muslims.

The right Wing political Parties of France have also cashed in on the anti-immigration and Islamophobia sentiments of the public. The National Front party, known for its anti-immigration and Islamophobism is expected to make substantial gains in the Presidential elections of 2017 by manipulating the public sentiment, which is increasing weary of the new wave of immigrants from Syria.

The issue of Islamophobia and discrimination against Muslims will continue in France, Europe and elsewhere as long as the invisible line between “us” and “them” remains in the society. In the recent years, the laws and policies implemented by France have further marginalized the Muslim community. The negative rhetoric by media, think-tanks and politicians which incites religious and racial prejudices needs to be curtailed and the Muslim youth needs to be involved in the mainstream society to keep them away from radicalization.

Taking note of the November 13 tragedy in Paris, French rulers and politicians must show realistic approach. They must know that most of the people involved in the Paris attacks were the local Muslims, used by the ISIS which is subsidiary of the Israeli Mossad which itself exploited the French phenomena of discrimination against the Muslim community.

Nonetheless, after the Paris tragedy, instead of inciting religious and radical prejudices against Islam and Muslims, creating anti-Muslim chauvinism which could culminate into “Clash of Civilizations”, French politicians, think-tanks and media must end this discriminatory treatment against the Muslims.

Misleading the Baloch People

Since, the government of the Balochistan province announced general pardon and protection to the Baloch militants as part of reconciliation process, many insurgents and their leaders have surrendered their arms and decided to work for the development of Pakistan and the province, peace has been restored in the province. But, it is misfortune that some external and internal elements have still been misleading the Baloch people in order to fulfill the hidden agenda of some powers.

In this context, the externally-backed various Baloch separatist leaders are still opposing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other development projects in Balochistan.

It is notable that during the visit of the Chinese President Xi Jinping to Pakistan, on April 20, 2015, he and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif signed 51 agreements for cooperation in various fields, related to CPEC. Its establishment between deep Gwadar seaport of Balochistan and the historic Silk Road city in western regions-Xinjiang of China will connect Gilgit-Baltistan through Khunjerab Pass. Beijing would also build an international airport at Gwadar, while the roads infrastructure in Gwadar would link the communication network of rest of the country to facilitate transportation of goods.

When Gwadar seaport becomes fully operational, it would connect the landlocked Central Asian states with rest of the world. Being the commercial hub, the port is likely to increase volume of trade, bringing multiple economic and financial benefits to Pakistan as well as to the Baloch people by changing their destiny. Gwadar project will not only uplift the impoverished people of Balochistan by providing thousands of employment opportunities and is likely to develop whole the province by redressing their grievances. Coupled with other mega projects and positive measures of the government, the resulting prosperity in the province would damp the separatist sentiments among the Baloch, which have been incited by some anti-Pakistan powers.

But, the ink on Pak-China agreements related to CPEC was barely dry when some western media, especially Indian secret agency RAW started playing up the Baloch insurgency, in this respect, the propaganda campaign coincided with terror-attacks. The director of The Second Floor (T2F), a social activist Sabeen Mahmud was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Karachi on April 24, 2015, followed by a bomb blast in Sibi, which killed several persons on April 26. However, she had left T2F after attending the session on Balochistan province, when she was targeted. She was likely to conduct a seminar at LUMS in Lahore about Balochistan. Earlier, on April 11, gunmen killed 20 laborers at a dam construction site in the Turbat district of Baluchistan. On May 29, 2015, 20 people were killed when unknown militants opened fire at the kidnapped passengers in Mastung area of Balochistan—after abduction of two buses. Particularly, on May 13, 45 people were killed when gunmen brutally opened fire on a bus of the Ismaili community in Karachi. Ahmed Marwat, a spokesman of Jundullah (God’s soldiers) which is the affiliated group of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP)—backed by RAW claimed responsibility for the bus attack.

In fact, these terror attacks which continue in some way or the other are aimed at sabotaging the CPEC by showing that if Pakistan government is not able to provide security to its citizens, how it can protect CPEC.  Besides, other progressive work in Balochistan is also part of its target.

It is mentionable in the recent years—entrenched in Afghanistan, intelligence agencies like American CIA, Indian RAW and Israeli Mossad have supported bomb blasts, suicide attacks, abductions, target killings, ethnic and sectarian violence in Balochistan through their affiliated militant groups such as Baloch Republican Party (BRP), Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Jundollah etc. to obtain the secret strategic designs of US, India and Israel at the cost of Pakistan, China and Iran. Besides martyring several personnel of law-enforcing agencies and security forces in the province, these anti-Pakistan entities kidnapped and massacred many Punjabis, Pushtuns, Shias, people of Hazara community and patriot Balochis including Iranian Shias. In the past few years, they abducted and killed many Chinese and Iranian nationals in Pakistan. On a number of occasions, these militant outfits claimed responsibility for their subversive acts. But, they have always blamed Pak Army and other security agencies for human rights violations in Balochistan.

It is of particular attention that in the recent past, Indian former Army Chief Gen. VK Singh openly confessed that during his tenure, he supervised special army unit, Tactical Support Division (TSD) on the instructions of the then defence minister to sponsor subversive acts in Pakistan, especially in Balochistan.

Recall, when during the Musharraf regime, Islamabad initiated the construction of Gwadar deep-seaport in Balochistan in March 2002 with Chinese assistance, sirens went off in the capitals of foreign countries, especially the US, India and Israel which took it as a threat to their global and regional plans.

Notably, besides Balochistan’s ideal strategic location, its abundant mineral resources like gas, coal and gold, entailing Pakistan’s close ties with China also pinches the eyes of the US, India, Israel and some western countries which intend to destabilize Pakistan for their collective aims.

It is worth-mentioning that with the help of Baloch nationalist leaders who have taken refuge in western countries; these hostile elements have launched a false propaganda campaign by spreading disinformation about natural resources, progressive works and CPEC. They mislead the Baloch people by propagating that present and future royalty of the mineral resources including income of the mega projects and CPEC are for the centre or Punjabis or the Punjabi Army and not for the Baloch people.

On the other side, patriot Baloch people have come to know the foreign conspiracy against the integration of Pakistan. They know that Pak Army has not only been successful in uprooting the anti-state elements, but also contributed a lot in socio-economic development of Balochistan. While protecting mega projects, and promoting other development works, Army set up a number of institutes in Balochistan, which have been providing particularly technical training to thousands of Balochis. Army has also been imparting military training to the Baloch youth. The purpose is to bring them in the mainstream of the country.

Undoubtedly, Army’s positive steps are increasing income of the Baloch youth and reducing their dependence on the feudal lords (Sardars), while external-backed insurgency has hampered the growth and development of the province.

Besides, the Baloch are very well-aware of the fact that instead of Sardars, royalty of the mineral resources go to the provincial government of Balochistan, and the Baloch people would be the real beneficiary of the various development projects and the CPEC.  

Baloch persons know that the Sardars who have been fighting for their own so-called status, prestige and influence, do not want to give up the old system of feudalism. Therefore, with the assistance of US-led India and Israel, these anti-Pakistan entities are inciting them for against Pak Army, Punjabis and the federation.

Nevertheless, civil, federal and provincial governments are making strenuous efforts to restore peace and order in the province. For this purpose, a paramilitary committee has also been formed by the ruling party to hold negotiations with the disgruntled elements. And Chief of Army Staff Gen. Raheel Sharif also supports political settlement—general pardon to the insurgents in Balochistan, so that, development works including the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor which would bring unlimited benefits to the province and its people must be completed.

Nonetheless, while pointing out the golden opportunities related to the development projects,   Pakistan’s top officials, especially the media must counter external propaganda of the hostile entities including those foreign-supported Baloch Sardars who are misleading the Baloch People through disinformation regarding the progressive works and CPEC.
